校訓(xùn)

哥大的校訓(xùn)為“In the light shall we see light.”可漢譯為“借汝之光，得見光明”或“在上帝的神靈中我們尋求知識”，典出《舊約·詩篇》：“Quoniam apud te fons vitae in lumine tuo videbimus lumen”（拉丁文）。英譯為：“For with there is the fountain of life; and in thy light we shall see light”，中文為：因你就是那生命之源；借著你的光，我們得見光明。

校訓(xùn)具有濃烈的宗教氣息，但它并不妨礙人們追求真理、尋找光明的決心和勇氣。哥大在課程設(shè)置上特別設(shè)立了國際化(Globalisation)、全品質(zhì)(Total quality)、道德 (Ethics)和人力資源管理四大主題，所以有“21世紀(jì)課程”的美譽(yù)。
